الإجابة: D. TSH and neck ultrasound

✓ مطابق للمصدر Thyroid and parathyroid surgery (1).pdf · p. 8

The initial evaluation of an asymptomatic thyroid swelling is TSH plus neck ultrasound. TSH is the screening test, and US (TI-RADS) decides whether FNA is needed. FNA follows ultrasound and is not the first test. A radionuclide scan is for uncertain thyrotoxicosis or nodule function. Calcitonin is not a routine first test.
