الإجابة: D. TSH and Neck US
For an asymptomatic thyroid swelling (moves with swallowing, normal eyes), the initial work-up is TSH and neck ultrasound. TSH is the screening test for function, and US (TI-RADS) decides whether FNA is needed. FNA comes after ultrasound, only for TR3 or higher. A radionuclide scan is for uncertain thyrotoxicosis or nodule function. CT is not first-line.
