For an irregular rhythm, count QRS complexes over a fixed strip: in a 6-second strip (30 large squares) multiply by 10; in a full 10-second ECG multiply by 6. The stem does not state the strip length (the ECG image is missing). If the exam strip was 6 s (as the bank note says), 11 x 10 = 110/min (B); if it was a standard 10-s 12-lead, 11 x 6 = 66, closest to 60 (C).

ليش كل خيار صح أو غلط

  • A ليش غلط

The 300 divided by R-R (big squares) rule gives a rate only for a regular rhythm; this ECG is irregular, so it cannot be used.

  • B ليش صح

The ECG review notes: for an irregular rhythm count the R waves in a 6-second strip (30 big squares) and multiply by 10, so 11 x 10 = 110/min.

  • C ليش صح

The ECG-reading transcript: for an irregular rhythm multiply the QRS complexes on the 10-second ECG by 6, so 11 x 6 = 66, closest to 60/min.
