الإجابة: A. TSH and T3
In new AF, routine work-up includes serum chemistry and thyroid function tests (TSH/T3) to find reversible causes such as hyperthyroidism, hypokalaemia and hypomagnesaemia. TEE is only needed to exclude left atrial thrombus before early cardioversion, and troponin/creatinine are not the AF-specific test asked about.

B
ليش غلط
TEE images the left atrium for thrombus before cardioversion (to avoid 3 weeks of anticoagulation); it is not the test for reversible causes of AF.

C
ليش غلط
Troponin is the cardiac biomarker of ACS; for AF this page lists ECG, echocardiogram and TSH instead.

D
ليش غلط
The AF diagnostic algorithm obtains K, Mg and TFTs to elucidate reversible causes; creatinine is not among them.
