CT is used only for haemodynamically stable trauma patients. This patient is in shock (HR 120, BP 90/55), so sending her to the CT scanner is unsafe. Hypotension/instability is the contraindication; she needs resuscitation and bedside assessment (FAST) instead. Young age, abdominal pain and possible pregnancy do not by themselves rule out CT in a stable patient.
