الإجابة: B. Beta HCG
A woman of reproductive age with lower abdominal pain, 7 weeks since LMP, tachycardia and borderline hypotension must be assumed to have a ruptured ectopic pregnancy until proven otherwise. A beta-hCG test is done in all women of reproductive age to rule out pregnancy, including ectopic. Glucose, urine microscopy and erect CXR do not address this life-threatening diagnosis.
