الإجابة: A. Hyponatremia, hyperkalemia, normal anion gab metabolic acidosis
In primary adrenal insufficiency, aldosterone deficiency causes sodium loss and potassium/H+ retention, giving hyponatremia, hyperkalemia and a normal anion gap metabolic acidosis. Metabolic alkalosis with hypokalemia and hypernatremia is the pattern of cortisol/aldosterone excess (Cushing's, Conn's).
ليش كل خيار صح أو غلط
-
A
ليش صح
Aldosterone deficiency causes hyponatremia (with hypotension and volume contraction), hyperkalemia and metabolic acidosis, the pattern expected in the labs.

B
ليش غلط
Adrenal insufficiency gives a normal anion gap metabolic acidosis, not alkalosis.
✓ Adrenal disorders (2).pdf · p. 5 -
C
ليش غلط
Aldosterone deficiency causes hyponatremia and hyperkalemia, the opposite of hypernatremia with hypokalemia.

D
ليش غلط
Adrenal insufficiency gives hyponatremia, hyperkalemia and a normal anion gap acidosis, not hypernatremia, hypokalemia or a high anion gap.
