His physical exam is unremarkable apart from BP is 155/105 mmHg. His laboratory investigations show serum potassium is 2.4 mEq/L, serum sodium is 155 mEq/L, decreased plasma renin activity and elevated plasma aldosterone concentration. الإجابة: B. Primary aldosteronism
HTN + hypokalaemia (muscle cramps/weakness) + hypernatraemia with low plasma renin and high aldosterone = primary aldosteronism. Renal parenchymal disease and other secondary causes raise renin; phaeo, Cushing and thyroid disease are not defined by this renin/aldosterone pattern.

ليش غلط
Kidney-related causes such as renal artery stenosis and nephrotic syndrome give high aldosterone with high renin (secondary); his renin is decreased, the primary (Conn) pattern.

B
ليش صح
