Exertional angina and syncope with a systolic ejection murmur radiating to the carotids = aortic stenosis. Its pulse is parvus et tardus (diminished, delayed carotid upstroke). A prominent carotid pulse and collapsing (water-hammer) pulse belong to aortic regurgitation; the source also lists a soft S2 in AS (the aortic component may be delayed), so C is defensible, but the classic expected pulse sign is parvus et tardus.

ليش كل خيار صح أو غلط

  • A ليش صح

The Valvular disease slides list pulsus parvus et tardus (with exertional chest pain and exertional syncope) among the signs of aortic stenosis, which this patient's picture fits.

    ✓ Valvular disease ...pdf · p. 7
  • B ليش غلط

A prominent, rapidly rising and falling carotid pulse (Corrigan pulse) is a sign of aortic regurgitation, not aortic stenosis.

    ✓ CARDIOLOGY- VHD+IE.pdf · p. 10
  • C ليش صح

Step Up To Medicine also lists a soft S2 in aortic stenosis (the aortic component may be delayed and merge into P2), so this sign is supported by that source.

    ✓ Step Up To Medicine 6th (Valvular Heart Disease).pdf · p. 3
  • D ليش غلط

A collapsing water-hammer pulse is listed under aortic regurgitation in the Valvular disease slides, not aortic stenosis.
