After an NSTEMI, patients go home on aspirin, beta-blocker, statin, ACE inhibitor and a P2Y12 inhibitor such as clopidogrel (dual antiplatelet therapy, usually for 1 year). Heparin is only an in-hospital anticoagulant for the acute phase (at least 48 h / around PCI), not a discharge drug.
