الإجابة: C. You tell him that this is confidential information and she has to call you.
A patient's condition and prognosis are confidential. They must not be shared with anyone, including relatives or friends, without the patient's explicit consent. So tell the son-in-law that you cannot discuss it and that the patient herself must contact you or give permission. Giving him a report (A) breaches confidentiality, false reassurance (B) is dishonest, and the daughter has no automatic right to the information (D).
