الإجابة: B. Wide local excision Followed by a adjuvant radiotherapy to the breast
A 3 cm tumour with a clinically/radiologically negative axilla is early breast cancer (T2 N0), so breast-conserving therapy (lumpectomy/wide local excision followed by radiotherapy) is appropriate. Lumpectomy without radiotherapy (A) is incomplete BCT. Radical mastectomy (C) is rarely used today. Excision biopsy (D) is unnecessary because the core biopsy has already made the diagnosis. In practice the axilla is also staged with sentinel node biopsy.
