الإجابة: A. NaCl 0.9% + 40 meq KCl\ Liter.
Nonbilious vomiting with a succussion splash = gastric outlet obstruction, which causes hypokalemic hypochloremic metabolic alkalosis. The cohort notes say metabolic alkalosis from vomiting/gastric outlet obstruction is corrected with normal saline (chloride), and hypokalemia with KCl - so 0.9% NaCl + KCl. Ringer's lactate adds lactate (a bicarbonate source) and worsens alkalosis; D5W is not a resuscitation fluid.
