✓ مطابق للمصدر Hernia - Afnan.pdf · p. 31

The ilioinguinal nerve runs with the spermatic cord in the inguinal canal and is the nerve most at risk in open inguinal hernioplasty. Its injury causes numbness of the anterior/upper scrotum, root of the penis and upper anteromedial thigh. Iliohypogastric supplies suprapubic skin, and the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve supplies the lateral thigh.
