الإجابة: B. Plasma exchange
Fever, thrombocytopenia, anaemia with fragmented RBCs (schistocytes) and renal impairment = TTP (a MAHA). TTP is a medical emergency and plasma exchange is the gold standard / life-saving treatment.
- FFP can be used only temporarily while plasma exchange is arranged.
- Prednisone and rituximab are adjuncts (rituximab for refractory TTP), not the life-saving step.
