Unilateral, sharp, electric/lancinating facial pain triggered by chewing and talking = trigeminal neuralgia, i.e. the 5th cranial nerve (V2/V3 distribution); MRI may show compression of the trigeminal nerve and treatment is carbamazepine. The 7th nerve is motor to the face (Bell palsy), and 9th/10th nerve pain is in the throat/ear.
