الإجابة: B. Post streptococcus Glomerulonephritis
Edema with cola-coloured urine (nephritic picture) about 2 weeks after a group A strep throat infection is classic post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis.
- Minimal change disease and membranous nephropathy are nephrotic (no gross haematuria), and diabetic nephropathy needs long-standing DM.

A
ليش غلط
Diabetic nephropathy is kidney damage caused by type 1 or 2 diabetes and is mostly asymptomatic (micro- or macroalbuminuria); this patient has no diabetes, and the picture follows a streptococcal infection.

B
ليش صح
PSGN appears about 2 weeks after group A strep pharyngitis or impetigo: immune complexes activate complement, with raised anti-streptolysin-O and anti-DNase B.

C
ليش غلط

D
ليش غلط
Minimal change disease is a nephrotic disease (podocyte effacement, selective proteinuria, seen in children), not a nephritic picture with cola-coloured urine after strep throat.
