الإجابة: A. Cervical dystonia

✓ مطابق للمصدر Movment disorder (1).pdf · p. 6

Involuntary, intermittent, often painful contractions of neck muscles that turn or tilt the head are cervical dystonia (spasmodic torticollis), the commonest adult-onset focal dystonia. Essential tremor is a rhythmic postural tremor, tardive dyskinesia follows neuroleptic exposure, and myoclonus is brief shock-like jerks.

ليش كل خيار صح أو غلط

  • A ليش صح

Adult-onset cervical dystonia (torticollis) is the commonest primary dystonia: dystonic spasms in neck muscles cause the head to turn or be drawn backwards.

    ✓ Movment disorder (1).pdf · p. 6
  • B ليش غلط

Tremor is a rhythmic shaking oscillation of a body part, whereas dystonia is sustained or intermittent muscle contraction causing abnormal twisting postures, as in this head tilt.

    ✓ Movement disorder.pdf · p. 2
  • D ليش غلط

Myoclonus is a sudden, brief muscle jerk, not repeated neck-muscle contractions that pull the head into an abnormal tilted posture.
