الإجابة: B. Apply oxygen
An SpO₂ of 86% on room air is significant hypoxaemia, so the immediate step is to apply supplemental oxygen. In the lecture, management of coronavirus (MERS/COVID-like) pneumonia and pneumonia in general is supportive care with oxygen, fluids and antipyretics, plus monitoring. IV fluids alone do not correct hypoxaemia. Daptomycin is an anti-MRSA antibiotic with no role in viral pneumonia. Hydroxychloroquine is not a recommended COVID-19 treatment. Note: the sources have no dedicated COVID-19 section; the support comes from the MERS/pneumonia management notes.

IV or oral fluids are part of supportive care, but they do not correct low oxygen. With SpO2 86% the supportive measure that matters is supplemental oxygen.

B
ليش صح
SpO2 86% on room air is significant hypoxemia. Supportive care for viral pneumonia (MERS/COVID-like) lists oxygen first, then fluids and antipyretics, with monitoring.

Daptomycin is an anti-Gram-positive antibiotic and is not recommended in pulmonary infections (lung surfactant inactivates it). COVID-19 pneumonia is viral anyway.
