الإجابة: A. Mycobacterium avium complex
Each opportunistic infection appears at a typical CD4 threshold. Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) appears at CD4 <50, together with CMV retinitis. Toxoplasmosis appears at CD4 <100, and TB and S. pneumoniae can occur at any CD4 count. So with CD4 <50, MAC is the infection specifically linked to his count.
