الإجابة: C. 1 mg dexamethasone suppression test + metanephrines (+ aldosterone:renin if hypertensive)
All adrenal incidentalomas are screened for Cushing syndrome (1 mg dexamethasone suppression test) and pheochromocytoma (metanephrines), plus an aldosterone:renin ratio if hypertensive.
- Imaging follow-up alone skips the functional work-up; FNA is not a first test (and is dangerous if the mass is a pheochromocytoma).
