الإجابة: C. Prominent (large) v waves
In tricuspid regurgitation blood is ejected back into the right atrium during systole, producing large (prominent) v waves in the JVP with a rapid y descent, plus a pulsatile liver. Cannon a waves occur with AV dissociation, absent a waves with AF, and Kussmaul sign with constrictive pericarditis.

A
ليش غلط
Cannon a waves are seen in complete heart block (AV dissociation), not in tricuspid regurgitation.

B
ليش غلط
Absent a waves occur in atrial fibrillation; tricuspid regurgitation gives a large v wave instead.

C
ليش صح
Tricuspid regurgitation gives prominent V waves in the jugular venous pulse with a rapid y descent, with a pulsatile liver.

D
ليش غلط
Prominent x and y descents are signs of constrictive pericarditis, not tricuspid regurgitation.

E
ليش غلط
Kussmaul sign (JVP rising on inspiration) is linked to constrictive pericarditis, right HF, massive PE and RV infarction; TR's JVP sign is the large v wave.
