الإجابة: C. IV loop diuretic (furosemide)
After sitting the patient up and giving oxygen, the next and most important step in acute pulmonary oedema is an IV loop diuretic (furosemide) to reduce preload. A saline bolus would worsen the overload; oral metoprolol depresses contractility in decompensated HF; oral digoxin takes weeks to act; amiodarone treats arrhythmias, not congestion.

A
ليش غلط
Acute heart failure is volume overloaded: treatment is diuretics (IV furosemide), so a saline bolus would add to the overload.

Beta-blockers are to be avoided in decompensated heart failure until the patient is stabilised.
