الإجابة: B. Blocks excessive sympathetic overactivity and reduces cardiac remodeling
In heart failure, beta-blockers (metoprolol, carvedilol, bisoprolol) reduce excessive sympathetic (SNS) activity. This lowers heart rate and afterload and reduces ventricular remodelling, which is why they cut mortality. They do not stimulate beta-2 receptors (that describes a beta-agonist). Increasing natriuresis is the action of diuretics, SGLT2 inhibitors and ARNi, not beta-blockers.

A
ليش غلط
Raising natriuretic peptide (ANP) is the action of ARNi, which prevents ANP breakdown; beta-blockers act by lowering sympathetic activity.

B
ليش صح
Beta-blockers lower sympathetic (SNS) activity, which lowers HR, preload and afterload and reduces ventricular remodelling, improving mortality.

C
ليش غلط
Beta-blockers do the opposite: they reduce sympathetic activity and heart rate rather than stimulating adrenergic receptors.
